Man Runs Naked At Dolce And Gabbana Catwalk Show At Milan

dolce
There were gasps at the Dolce & Gabbana catwalk show at Milan Fashion Week today when a streaker leapt onto the catwalk and ran up and down in full view of the city’s fashion royalty. Stars including Barcelona striker Lionel Messi could only watch as the man, whose identity is not yet known, paraded himself up and down the runway with all his assets on show.
The designers had been showcasing creations from their Spring/Summer 2014 Men’s collection when the man invaded the spotlight and disrobed entirely but for a pair of red trainers.
In one of the few high-profile tax cases to reach court in Italy they were convicted of failing to declare royalties of about €1billion (£860million).
A judge in Milan ruled that they used a holding company in Luxembourg to avoid Italy’s corporation taxes for years.
The designers and their accountant had already been fined €400million (£340million) in April in a related case.

BBA Update: Nando Alleges he Contacted STI From Selly

BBA 2
Things spiraled out of control very fast in the Diamond House, one minute they were all laughing, dancing and drinking together, the next minute Selly and Nando were at each other’s throats talking about Selly’s shortcomings in the Arena.
Selly was telling the Diamonds that they were talking behind her back and giving her a hard time saying she wasn’t giving the arena games her all. Nando was mean in his response, telling her that nobody cared about talking about her behind her back and that the truth was that she had disappointed her Housemates in the Arena Showdown last week Friday. “I was disappointed in you and so were they, even though they won’t say it,” Nando said cold heartedly. Clearly Nando is still blaming her for their loss. It was almost like these two weren’t all over each other just the other day. Things have seriously changed for them.
Nando revealed in a later conversation with Bimp that Ghanaian housemate, Selly gave him Chlamydiae STD. Meanwhile Bassey said few suiting words to calm Selly down. “You can just nominate me on Monday if you want me gone, then next week I can leave,” She said in anger. Nando responded by saying that he’s not willing to wait for Nominations to tell her the truth. This is the point where she started crying and accusing all the Diamonds of giving up on people. Dillish kept telling her not to generalize Nando’s statement because that’s not what the rest of them thought about her. Selly eventually ran to the room and started looking at photos of her friends and family.

BBATheChase: South Africa(Angelo) Has Fingered And Sub-Raped Nigeria(Beverly)- Charles Novia

wpid-Charles-Novia
The Big Brother show is undoubtedly one of the most watched/followed indigenous TV reality show on the continent. Comments and headlines floated the internet when Beverly got involved with Angelo. Here’s what Mr. Charles said;
I mentioned earlier on my facebook page that I don’t follow Big Brother Africa and that is by choice. A choice I believe lots of people have on their decoders by ignoring or disabling the channel off their bouquet. I align myself with Professor Wole Soyinka’s statement made a few years back that BBA is pervasive and debasing.
Reading snippets of this year’s edition on some online platforms, I think the Good Prof’s statement has largely been vindicated. Uninhibited sexual frolicks on open camera, accusations of STDs being passed around, shameless smooching by hormonal charged housemates and ear-tingling swear words are the pre-dominant values being shown to the continent from that neo-Gommorhic contraption of a creation. Of course, I’m told the content producers cleverly hide my above description with so-called tasks which lamely try to project positive African cultures and traditions; which is ironical because such modern franchises like BBA are neo-imperialist means of eroding the very essence of Africanism as the world moves to an incomprehensible digital age.
There are various countries represented in the BBA house from many African countries. The Producers of the show cleverly put up a caveat that the contestants represent themselves and not their countries, which I find nebulous and amusing. But I understand why they are playing safe. The reality is that BBA is a competition and every person in that house represents (intentionally or otherwise) the culture and morals of their respective countries. So when one housemate screams blue murder that he was infected by another with an sexually transmitted disease ( I’m told it’s a Nando accusing a Selly) it’s not just a personal accusation. Its Nando’s country (Tanzania) accusing Ghana of giving them Chlamydia. That’s just the plain reality.
And while some of us are sniggering about that, the latest furore generated by Nigeria’s representative in the house, Beverly Osu, over her unlimited libido is as shameful to many as it is interesting to others. Almost all major Nigerian online sites and newspapers have been awash with opinions and comments for the past couple of days about how Beverly got herself in a ferocious foreplay which was caught on camera. In accompanying pictures, Beverly is seen with her South African romantic interest, Angelo, in a hot-blooded sexual position with mouth agape in ecstasy as he does something to her with his finger. In fact, I don’t even know which is more shocking, the act itself or the crass reportage given to it by the bloggers. Most of the bloggers went on a tactless headline spree by posting headlines such as ‘Beverly Osu ‘fingered’ by Angelo’ and other shocking headlines like that. What is that naa? Ehn? I guess they didn’t know how else to report it except in the tell-it-like-it-is headline.
Anyway, the arguement in Beverly’s favour is as amusing to me as it is as silly. Some say it’s her body and she can do what she wants with it. True. I agree. But those with such opinions could very well ask their sisters or daughters who have bodies to dance naked in the National Stadium to accentuate their arguement. Since freedom of the body has now moved from being personal to being open in a visual zoo, then those people might as well go on a naked display.
Another school of thought canvassed by former Big Brother winner, Uti Nwachukwu, says it’s not easy for a sexually active person to ‘hold bodi’ for 3 months in the house. Is that an excuse? In fact, from the Biblical perspective, I liken the sexual adventures in the BBA house to the sacrilegeous Absalomic act in the Bible, wherein Absalom openly slept with his Father’s concubines for all to see on his royal patio. Only, in the BBA, there are no kings or usurpers. Only people who profess to be followers of faiths they don’t know jack about.
Coming back to my hypothesis, it is not Angelo who used the finger on Beverly. It’s actually South Africa which has fingered and sub-raped Nigeria. Since both housemates are representatives of their countries, Angelo’s act should be seen for its symbolism rather than its entertainment value. SA is the biggest economy in Africa, according to financial analysts. Nigeria is the fastest growing economy in Africa. There’s been a struggle for continental domination by both countries over the years. To underscore their importance in Africa, South African companies have been investing heavily in Nigeria; finding huge profits in the porous economy of Nigeria. Nigerians welcome all these investments with open arms. Just as Beverly opened her arms and *cough, cough* for Angelo. So, when Angelo carried out his act, he might have been telling us Nigerians who cared to watch, ‘F**k you, all! You Nigerians ain’t shit’. And that is how I see it.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not xenophobic in anyway. I’m being very realistic. Beverly represents a whoring Nigeria which seem to get nothing right but just allows itself to be screwed both by internal and external interests. It’s as simple as that.
But all this grammar and analogy I’m giving here will not change something. When this same Beverly comes back from the BBA house, she would have turned into the next big celebrity with possible companies falling over themselves to sign her for endorsements. It’s just what pointing fingers can do to one”.

12 Year Old Boy With Abnormal Tail Growth Worshiped as god in India

tail
The 12yr old boy with a “tail” growing from his back has been hailed as a god in India.
Followers flock to Arshid Ali Khan’s temple — often leaving cash or gifts in return for a blessing.
They believe the youngster — Balaji to his devotees — is the reincarnation of Hindu monkey god Hanuman. But doctors say he has meningocele, a form of spina bifida where the spinal cord develops abnormally.
Balaji, who lives with his grandparents near Chandigarh, said: “I love my tail. It’s a gift from God. It’s unusual but people respect me and bow before me because of it. I feel special.”
Doctors say if the growth is not removed, Balaji’s twisted limbs could become worse.

You Were Born of Man And Woman, Not Homosexuality – President Mugabe Tells Obama

mugabe
Mugabe criticised US president, Barack Obama’s conditional aid and said western countries have targeted him for his stance on homosexuality. Addressing thousands of party supporters at a campaign rally in Mutare, President Mugabe reminded Obama that he was not born of out of homosexuality.
“Then we have this American president, Obama, born of an African father, who is saying we will not give you aid if you don’t embrace homosexuality,” President Mugabe said.
“We ask, was he born out of homosexuality? We need continuity in our race, and that comes from the woman, and no to homosexuality. John and John, no; Maria and Maria, no. Kana zvirizvo, tovavharira five years mumba imwe, murume nemurume, vobuda vane vana two. If they don’t, we will cut their heads off.
“Ndoimwe nyaya yavakandivengera. I told them they are worse than dogs and pigs, yes worse than dogs and pigs. I keep pigs and the male pig knows the female one, haudzimanikidze, dzinozivana, chero shiri dzesango . . . vanhu vokurirwa pfungwa nemhuka? They have a whole community of gays advocating human rights? Unhu ipapa huri pai? Kuno uku hatidi, hatidi, hatidi. Munoziva zvekuita navo.”
President Mugabe has been criticised too for pointing a finger at others when prominent officials in his party, Zanu Pf are allegedly gay.

Sky City to Become The Tallest Building in The World Ahead of Burj Khalifa by April 2014

burj
The Chinese are getting ahead of the Germans and French in the construction world. 828-meter Burj Khalifa has less than a year left as the world’s tallest building.
China’s projected 838-meter (2,749 feet) Sky City broke grounds in Changsha in central China on July 20.
Astonishingly, the construction company behind it expects to top out in April 2014 — a build time of just 10 months.
Fast construction claims from Broad Group, the Changsha-based construction company in charge of the build, have elicited strong reactions from China’s “netizens,” as well as experts.
“The speed is horrifying, how can that be possible?” said one user on Weibo, China’s Twitter-like service.
Another criticized the liveability of the homes within, calling the project a “giant stack of trailer homes.”
But the building would appear to herald a new age in Chinese construction, one in which tall, fast builds become common.
It’s already difficult to keep track of China’s tallest building announcements.
Other projects under construction in China include:
Shanghai Tower, Shanghai (632 meters, completion in 2014)
Goldin Finance 117, Tianjin (597 meters, completion in 2015)
Ping An Finance Center, Shenzhen (660 meters, completion in 2016)
Greenland Center, Wuhan (636 meters, completion in 2017)
Golden Rooster Tower, Suzhou (700 meters, yet to be confirmed)
More than 10 cities in China are planning to build something taller than the 541-meter (1,775 feet) One World Trade Center, the United States’ tallest building due to open early 2014 in New York City, according to the “2012 China Skyscraper Report” by Chinese architecture website motiancity.com.
The site, which defines “skyscrapers” as buildings taller than 152 meters (498 feet), also reports that China currently has 470 skyscrapers, 332 under construction and 516 planned but unconfirmed.
That means by 2022, China could have a total of 1,318 buildings higher than 152 meters, more than twice than expected in the United States.
Last year, real estate data company Emporis reported that half of the 10 tallest buildings under construction worldwide are in China.
Sky City will cost RMB 9 billion ($1.46 billion) to build.
According to Broad Group’s CEO Yue Zhang, the building is meant to save on energy and land.
The group says the 202-story, 1.05 million-square-meter building will keep at least 2,000 cars off of Changsha city streets by creating an environment no one needs to leave.
The tower will house more than 30,000 people alongside a shopping mall, school, hospital, office areas, roof garden, amusement park, sports facilities, organic farm and a 10-kilometer “walking street” that will run from the first to the 170th floor.
“Residents don’t need to step out of the building, they can do everything within it,” said Zhang.

AND FINALLY

Pep Guardiola guided new club Bayern Munich to a 2-0 win over former club Barcelona at the Allianz Arena.

Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich beat Barcelona in friendly

Pep Guardiola
Pep Guardiola took charge of Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena for the first time as the Champions League winners recorded a 2-0 friendly win over his old club Barcelona.
Philipp Lahm headed Bayern in front and Mario Mandzukic scored a second with three minutes left.

Bayern's pre-season so far:

Bayern Fanclub Wildenau 1-15 Bayern Munich
TSV Regen 1-9 Bayern Munich
Paulaner Dream Team 0-13 Bayern Munich
Brescia 0-3 Bayern Munich
Sonnehof Grossapac 0-6 Bayern Munich
Hansa Rostock 0-4 Bayern Munich
Hamburg 0-4 Bayern Munich
Borussia Monchengladbach 1-5 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich 2-0 Barcelona
"It was a special game for me. I spent my whole life as a player and coach at Barcelona,'' Guardiola said.
"I'm happy, I don't have anything to complain about at the moment."
Guardiola, who won 13 trophies in four years before leaving Barcelona last year, started the game without a main striker, using Franck Ribery, Arjen Robben and Thomas Mueller in a three-man forward line.
Lahm, deployed in midfield, headed the German side in front from a Ribery cross before substitute Mandzukic finished from Diego Contento's ball into the box.
Ahead of the arrival of new Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino, assistant manager Jordi Roura took charge of a side that included Lionel Messi but did not feature the likes of Xavi, Andres Iniesta or Neymar.
Bayern face Borussia Dortmund, the team they overcame in May's Champions League final, in the German Super Cup on Saturday.
Guardiola added: "It was a good preparation for Borussia Dortmund.
"Barcelona are always a good team and they were a good test for us. We had our chances and we have to improve our finishing."

Luis Suarez: Brendan Rodgers dismisses £40m Arsenal bid

Brendan Rodgers and Luis Suarez
Arsenal are not "anywhere near" matching Liverpool's valuation of striker Luis Suarez, according to Reds manager Brendan Rodgers.
Liverpool rejected an Arsenal club-record bid of £40m plus £1, but Suarez wants to talk to the London club.
The approach triggered a clause in his contract that means he has been told of the bid and can now talk to Arsenal.
"If Arsenal want the player they have to produce the value for the player," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo.

Suarez in numbers

Luis Suarez
  • 30 goals in 44 appearances for Liverpool last season
  • Since joining from Ajax in January 2011 for £22.7m, has scored 51 in 96 appearances
  • 49 goals in 48 games for Ajax the season before joining Liverpool
  • 31 goals in 62 appearances for Uruguay
"There was an offer a few weeks ago of £35m and two weeks later it is now £40m and £1. I don't think it is anywhere near the value of what he is worth.
"It is two-fold really. A player may want to go, but then somebody has to pay the value or worth of that player."
On Wednesday, Suarez made his first appearance for Liverpool since his infamous bite on Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic's arm last season, coming off the bench in an 18-minute cameo during the Premier League club's 2-0 win over Melbourne Victory  at the MCG.
With Liverpool 1-0 up, the Uruguayan laid on the Reds' second for new signing Iago Aspas late in the match.
After the game, Rodgers said: "There's nothing new to report. He [Suarez] is very much a Liverpool player and over the course of the next couple of weeks we've got to get him up to speed."
Rodgers did, however, remind Suarez of the debt he feels the player owes the Liverpool fans who have stood by him after two seasons of controversy.
"The support he has received from the supporters and the people of the city of Liverpool has been unrivalled," Rodgers added.
"In this period of time he's missed a lot of games for the club through various reasons. The people have stood by him like a son and really looked after him. Whatever happens in the coming weeks that will be in his mind because it's something you can never forget."

Arsenal's record buys

  • Jose Antonio Reyes (Sevilla) £17.5m
  • Santi Cazorla (Malaga) £16m
  • Andrey Arshavin (Zenit St Petersburg) £15m
  • Sylvain Wiltord (Bordeaux) £13m
  • Thierry Henry (Juventus) £11m
Liverpool have now turned down two offersfrom the Gunners, who are keen to boost their attacking options, while Real Madrid, now managed by Carlo Ancelotti, also remain interested in the player but have yet to make a formal offer.
Following Arsenal's most recent approach, a post on Liverpool owner John Henry's Twitter page  read: "What do you think they're smoking over there at Emirates?"
It is unclear whether Henry is talking about Arsenal's attempts to sign Suarez or their valuation of the player.
While Liverpool remain determined to keep Suarez, who scored 30 goals for the club in 44 appearances last season, their resolve is likely to be tested if the bids continue to rise. Should Arsenal persist and have an improved bid accepted, it would more than double their previous highest initial outlay on a transfer.
Play media
Suarez comes with baggage - Souness
Speculation has grown about Suarez's future since he was punished with a 10-game ban at the end of April for biting Ivanovic.
The striker still has to serve six games of that suspension and was also banned in 2011 after being found guilty of racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
Suarez joined Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011 in a £22.7m deal.

Trailer For Film Adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s ‘Half Of A Yellow Sun’ Arrives!

4
Described as an epic love story, here’s the official synopsis released by the film’s producers which tells us what role each starring actor will play:
… weaving together the lives of four people swept up in the turbulence of war. Olanna (Newton) and Kainene (Rose) are glamorous twins from a wealthy Nigerian family. Returning to a privileged city life in newly independent 1960s Nigeria after their expensive English education, the two women make very different choices. Olanna shocks her family by going to live with her lover, the “revolutionary professor” Odenigbo (Ejiofor) and his devoted houseboy Ugwu (Boyega) in the dusty university town of Nsukka; Kainene turns out to be a fiercely successful businesswoman when she takes over the family interests, and surprises herself when she falls in love with Richard (Mawle) an English writer. Preoccupied by their romantic entanglements, and a betrayal between the sisters, the events of their life loom larger than politics. However, they become caught up in the events of the Nigerian civil war, in which the lgbo people fought an impassioned struggle to establish Biafra an independent republic, ending in chilling violence which shocked the entire country and the world.
The crew includes award-winning cinematographer John de Borman (An Education, The Full Monty), production designer Andrew McAlpine (BAFTA winner for The Piano), and award-winning Nigerian songwriter, Cobhams Asuquo and singer-songwriter, Keziah Jones who are composing original music for the film.

Nigerian Players Banned For Life in Match-Fixing Scandal

football
Players and officials of clubs involved in two Nigerian promotion play-off games that ended 79-0 and 67-0 have been banned for life.
Plateau United Feeders were 79-0 victors over Akurba FC while Police Machine FC demolished Bubayaro FC 67-0.
The four clubs have been banned from the game for 10 years.
A Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) committee recommended that match officials involved in the two matches should be given life bans.
Plateau United Feeders and Police Machine went into the matches level on points, with promotion to the lowest tier of the Nationwide League Division at stake.
Feeders scored 72 of their goals in the second half, while Police Machine reportedly scored 61 times after the break in their game.
The results meant that Plateau edged above Police Machine on goal difference.
The NFF said in a statement: “The NFF have accepted the recommendations and they would be communicated to the clubs, the state FA’s, CAF and FIFA”.

Worlds Smelliest and Dirtiest man that hasn't bathed in 37 years.

It is not an achievement that can readily be savoured by his nearest and dearest. But Kailash Singh has as good a claim as any to the accolade of world's smelliest man - after refusing to wash for more than 37 years.

Mr kailash is 65 yr old and has not bathed or even cut his hair which is 6ft-long dreadlocks since 1974, shortly after he married. Despite neighbours joking the sweaty farmer would be lucky persuade his wife to have any children at all, his religious guidance clearly failed and he has seven daughters.

The Explanation he gave is that he claimed that a priest guaranteed him a much –prized son and heir if he followed his advice.

His family which is suffering so long admit that they once tried to force him to take a steam. 'He fought us off and ran away,' said wife Kalavati Devi, 60. 'We've tried several times since to force him to have a shower but he puts up such a fuss. 'He says he'd rather die than take a bath and only a son could change his mind. It has been so many years now I've got used to it.'

The only contact with water Kailash has is to wash his mouth and hands.
'I have no son, so I will never wash again,' he said. 'Maybe when I am born again I will wash.'
