Mara Hoffman Makes Beach-to-Boardwalk Tunic for Miami Swim Week

In celebration of being named the "Mercedes-Benz Presents" designer this season and outfitting a car in her tribal-chic prints, Mara Hoffman has also created a limited-edition tunic for Swim Week 2013.
The beach-ready tunic and pouch just went on sale for $50 at Miami boutique Alchemist, it is meant to be a convertible fashion piece—which is (figuratively) a nod to the car style and (literally) a chic cover-up that can easily go from the sand to the sidewalk.
"The design was inspired by a cosmic collision which melds together to create this intricate, colorful print. It feels very celestial, which is why we ended up calling it Astrodreamer," Hoffman told ELLE.com. "We got these awesome tees from Alternative Apparel to use and really liked that they were convertible. They can work as a tunic or a tee, depending on which way you want to go. I like the idea that you can throw this on over a bikini to head to the beach but could also wear it with a pair of jeans or shorts for a casual look."

The marriage of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2008, Adaeze Igwe and Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo is at the moment experiencing some turbulence, this your darling magazine National Enquirer can exclusively reveal. The love birds who got married in a hush manner, barely three months after meeting in December 2009 are said to be patching things so as not to catch the attention of the press and public in general.
